How to make an invoice
Fill in your details, your client's, and one line per item or hour of work. Totals, discount and tax update as you type. Press Print / Save as PDF and choose "Save as PDF" in the print window to get a clean PDF to email, or print it on paper. Your draft is saved in this browser, so you can close the page and come back.
Making the next invoice
New invoice keeps your own details, payment notes and currency, clears the items, and moves to the next number (INV-0042 becomes INV-0043). Download the CSV to copy the items into a spreadsheet or your accounting app.
How is tax worked out?
The discount comes off the subtotal first, then tax is added on the discounted amount. Every line is rounded to the currency's smallest unit (cents, or whole yen) once, so the totals always add up exactly.
Is my data uploaded?
No. Everything stays in your browser: the invoice is drawn on your device, and the draft is stored only on this device. Clear it any time with New invoice or by clearing your browser's site data.
